Jayden Binnie
Jayden started his martial arts career at age 14 with the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, He developed a passion for Jiu-Jitsu rapidly which led him to his first BJJ competition at age 15. Some notable victories out of the hundreds of competition matches Jayden has participated in would include QLD State Champion 4 years in a row at multiple belt levels, 2017 Australian National Champion, and most recently; AGC U80kg all belt super absolute champion. Jayden has trained with and learned from some of the sport's highest level competitors including Keenan Cornelius, Buchecha and Caio Terra. After a few years of Jiu-Jitsu practice, Jayden expanded his field of training to striking disciplines as well while continuing with dedicated study and competition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This ultimately led him to his current discipline of choice; mixed martial arts competition. Jayden currently competes as an amateur MMA fighter and is looking toward a professional career in the near future. He continues to cultivate his striking and grappling abilities under the watchful eye of Coaches Steve and Elliot Compton.
“I try and follow the philosophy of my coaches when it comes to personal training: individual programs for individual people. Everyone’s goals, commitments, and interests are different so training will only be constructive when it is bespoke. I like to consider all relevant factors and try and develop a method of training that caters to every client’s individual goals, interests and what they find enjoyable.”
